Meaningful Questions and Answers

What is a Life Transition?

Life transitions are important experiences in life which involve change and adaptation. In our lives, we face many transitions: from childhood to puberty; getting into college; getting married; getting a job; relocating; having a baby; and retirement (among many other transitions).  Although these transitions may represent happy life experiences, because all of them involve change and adaptation, at times, they may feel overwhelming and stressful.

What is Loss?

There are other life transitions that may be more challenging and painful, such as the death of a loved one; divorce or romantic break-up; loss of a job; or even loss of youth. When we experience a loss, our life is changed forever. Life after any type of loss is emotionally exhausting, especially if you are unsure about how to pick up the pieces. You may find yourself in a dark place unable to let go of the pain. Still, you have resources inside of you to embrace life again.

What is Grief?

Grief is our response to a painful experience in our lives.  It differs among people, including family members, adults and children, and men and women. Grief is unique, because we are unique.   Grief is a natural process and we have different ways to express it.

The same way we laugh when we are happy. We grieve when we are sad.  What matters most is to recognize grief and embrace it, so, we can eventually, release it.

Can Meditation Help me in my Healing Process?

When we are grieving or feeling sad, connecting with our spiritual dimension adds value to our lives and helps us give meaning to our loss. Meditation is a practice that can help you connect with your inner self and find  peace, love, and spiritual growth.
